Dylan Hicks is a PhD candidate at Flinders University, Adelaide, where he specializes in sports biomechanics. Dylan currently works full time at Cardijn College as the Head of Health & Physical Education and High Performance Academy Coordinator.

His research interests include force-velocity profiling in jumping and sprinting actions and understanding how mechanical variables influence human performance.

Dylan is also a Level III Sprints, Hurdles and Relays coach (Athletics Australia), a Level II Strength & Conditioning Coach (ASCA) and Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (NSCA). Previously, Dylan has been the ASCA Special Interest Group coordinator in South Australia and director of the Adelaide Athletic Development Conference.
